What we collect, and only when you choose to send it
- Reference tests: your answers, how long you took, and the optional background you picked. Only after you tick the agreement box and press Submit.
- Dream State choices: which option you picked at each fork, the forecast you saw and how long you took. Only if you switch on sharing.
- Email lists: your email address, the lists you picked (launch, monthly progress, weekly newsletter, milestone alerts, new tests) and when you confirmed.
- Accounts (optional): your email, an optional name, and your password stored only as a one-way scrambled hash we can't read. A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.
- Early-member spots: your email, the spot number and when you claimed and confirmed it.
- Contributor offers: your name, email, chosen role, what you'd like to help with, and any links or availability you add.
- Site assistant: your questions are sent to Anthropic's Claude to write the answer. We save the conversation only if you're signed in and keep "remember my chats" switched on; otherwise nothing from the chat is stored by us.
Test answers and Dream State choices are not linked to your name or email. We don't use tracking cookies and don't run advertising or analytics scripts.
Abuse protection
To stop automated spam and limit early-member spots per network, we keep a one-way scrambled code derived from your internet address. It cannot be turned back into the address, and our database never stores the address itself. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs for security.
Why we collect it
Test answers and choices give Paragon a human baseline: how people judge claims against a reference, and which choices people make when shown a forecast. Emails are used only for the lists you picked and for messages about your account, spot or contributor offer. We don't sell any of it.
Who handles it
Entries are stored in a Postgres database hosted by Neon and handled by small server functions on Vercel. Emails are sent through Resend. Assistant questions are answered by Anthropic's Claude. SyncPath gets internal notifications in Slack, with email addresses partly hidden. Access is limited to SyncPath.
How long we keep it
List subscriptions stay until you unsubscribe. Accounts stay until you delete them; deleting your account removes it with your saved chats and contributor details, takes you off every list and releases any early-member spot. Test answers and choices are kept while they're useful for developing Paragon; because they aren't linked to you, we can't find one person's answers to delete them.
Your choices
You can use every demo without sending anything. Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can change your lists or delete your account from the Account panel, or write to raffael@syncpath.ai. The tests, accounts and early-member offer are for people 18 and older.
