# Paragon by SyncPath

> Paragon is a local-first AI orchestration system in development by SyncPath Technologies, Inc. (founder: Raffael Collymore). A local model (Bonsai) plans each task, cloud AIs (Claude, ChatGPT) advise within limits, every step is recorded and backed up, a permission layer (Jack10) decides what is allowed, and a person approves decisions that matter. Paragon is not publicly available yet and has no announced release date.

Key facts:
- Built in tested checkpoints; checkpoint 6 is active and checkpoint 7 is in progress (as of October 2026).
- Started in 2024 as a structured prompt system on ChatGPT custom GPTs; rebuilt as a separate software system from September 2026.
- Principles: capability is not permission; claims need evidence and "unknown" is a valid answer; nothing promotes itself; private data stays local.
- Dream State is background work: DayDream (passive upkeep and experiments that only produce proposals) and active long-horizon work behind human approval gates.
